Over my tenure as a student and an employee, I have learned and want to continue to learn and develop skills that will help me become a stronger and more successful professional in the workplace. Over my tenure as a lifeguard, I worked at many different pools with differing needs and situations; through these circumstances, I learned how to problem-solve better, work in teams, and serve the pool patrons. As a student at Wilfrid Laurier University, I am gaining knowledge that I hope to apply to my field of study. I have taken many classes at school that pertain to data analytics and statistical analysis, which have taught me how to build prediction models and visualize, organize, and filter data. I find it fascinating and want to continue learning and growing at school and in a professional setting.
