Teaching

Self Employed Tutor November 2018 – June 2023

Private Tutor

I tutor individual students on an irregular basis. I am usually helping one to two students at any given time. I now primarily work with teenage students in chemistry and algebra, but still receive the occasional request to help a UCSB general chemistry student who is learning from my former professors. I transitioned to Zoom sessions during 2020 and 2021, but have recently resumed in-person lessons.

UCSB Campus Tutor      September 2018 – June 2019

CLAS Tutor

I was employed by UCSB through their Campus Learning Assistance Services program to provide 6 lectures each week to a class of 15-20 first-year chemistry students seeking academic support. Each week I devised a custom lesson plan meant to reinforce and supplement their regular lectures.
