Benjamin Kane Nichols

At SLG I wrote multiple judicial diversion motions, mental health diversions and motions for early termination of probation which required quick thinking, writing skills and creativity. Throughout my time interning with the firm I helped win multiple cases for clients with my writings. The internship also required me to call clients and speak with them on the phone which required good people skills when handling sensitive topics and multitasking to take notes while interviewing clients. I Drafted correspondence and maintained client communication under attorney guidance. Over the course of my time at SLG I helped multiple clients avoid serious consequences for minor crimes through mental health and judicial diversions.
