I have just graduated the bartending program at Algonquin College and am keen to get started in the industry. I am trying to learn more about wines from around the world (wines are what interests me most although I am also trying to learn more about spirits and beers). I enjoy coming up with my own twists on cocktails. For example, with the help of my peers at Algonquin, I came up with a red French 75 for the Wellington Gastropub called the Red Cannon. The owner, Shane Waldron, has agreed to put on the cocktail menu for Valentines day.
