Diligent and hard-working candidate ready to contribute solid effort as team member. Thorough and highly organized with excellent communication skills. Reliable worker with strong work ethic.
I'm inquiring for the job posting of conductor for New Brunswick Southern Railway. I am dependable, courteous and customer oriented. I understand the railroad is a 24-hour operation and would love the opportunity to be part of the team.
I currently work at Irving Blending & Packaging. Where safety is of the utmost importance. Our team has a safety stand-down every morning. In this meeting, we discuss possible hazards, identify issues in the warehouse or with loading the trailers and troubleshoot. Some of the issues have required the maintenance team to help resolve. I'm required to submit a hazard identification into our database on a weekly basis.
I started in December 2021 working nights on the DEF (Diesel exhaust fluid) line. Since I have advanced into the shipping and receiving department, March 2022. I was trained as a forklift operator to load transport trailers, holding up to 51 pallets of product. I also load 53-foot containers for export outside of Canada. In receiving, I unload trailers from our suppliers. Which is time sensitive, as most of these items are used in our daily production.
Before joining Irving, I worked for 16 months at JTR services. My responsibilities included monitoring and restocking portable washrooms and hand-wash stations. Handling customers calls which brought me anywheres from St. Stephen to Sussex in the run of a day. I was very prompt and often worked well beyond my shift. I volunteered to work overtime on weekends when needed. I navigated my way to my dispatched calls which weren't always in obvious spots. I also did minor mechanical repairs to my equipment when on the roads.
