Assist technicians throughout the crop research cycle. Work done during the growing season includes field labor, operating farm equipment for planting, spraying and harvesting. During the winter, we process seed samples, assemble the research plot fields for the following yr, and raise generations in the greenhouse.

Scouted corn, soybean, mixed grain and hay crops in the Ottawa area, making observations on soil conditions, crop stages, insects, diseases, deficiencies and calculating yield estimates.

Was responsible for general cleaning of the school facilities, waxing the floors, deep summer cleaning, as well as securing and locking up the buildings.

Cleaned and cared for the lodge, while keeping stock organized and answering guest questions.
