Accomplishments

In 1985 I was accepted to and traveled with Up With People. Up With People was an international organization that traveled the world using the vehicle of a musical performance to spread a message of international understanding and universal commonality. My cast was composed of 145 young adults from 25 different nations and every sort of background. Our tour took us across the United States, into Canada and to Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland. In addition to the show, cast members had the opportunity to do advance work; going to a city ahead of time to set up for the arrival of the cast. Advance teams would arrange for the logistics of the arrival of the 100+ cast members including arranging for meals, housing and transportation of the cast as well as Promotions and ticket sales for the show. I was a part of two advance teams one in Indiana and one in Freiburg, Germany.
