In an online forum, utilizing both video and phone formats, I taught conversational and business English to Korean students. Most students were adults, with some working for the Korean government, and others working for a Korean automotive company, and others working in financial institutions.

During my ten years working for this company, I was able to help my students improve their English comprehension, listening, pronunciation, and communicative skills.

From a home studio classroom, I conducted private one-on-one, pair, and small group classes for preparation to present the TOEFL iBT exam. My Mexican students were mostly university age young people, planning and preparing for foreign study abroad. Classes were usually quite intensive, with three to five, one to two hour sessions per week.

Taught English language online classes in a video format. Students were mostly adults, from a range of career backgrounds. Delivered English language instruction for a variety of purposes. Some students wanted to improve their English language skills for possible work promotion and advancement. Other students studied to prepare for the Cambridge English tests, PET, FCE, and CAE (B1,B2,C1,C2).

Classroom teaching from beginner to advanced level English capacity. Classes were maximum twelve students, with ages ranging from 12 years of age to university age. The Cambridge Interchange textbooks were used in the curriculum, as well as overhead classroom projectors. Conversation clubs in an English/Spanish interchange style were also held on Friday afternoons, supervised by the English teachers. I also taught in group and private one-on-one TOEFL iBT classes. I also taught Business English as a private tutor for corporate groups and individuals.

In a small classroom above a candy store, I began my English teaching career. with small groups of children's classes and adult classes. A lot was learned, hopefully on both sides! This is where and when I fell in love with teaching.
