Job Summary:A Telecommunications Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing communication systems and equipment, such as telephone lines, internet routers, and satellite systems. They ensure that communication networks operate efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, and maintain various types of telecommunication equipment and systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with telecommunications technology.
• Repair or replace faulty or damaged equipment, including wiring and other hardware.
• Monitor and test systems to ensure they’re working properly and efficiently.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users.
• Operate computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems to coordinate and communicate with field technicians.
• Document procedures, such as equipment installation and troubleshooting steps.
• Ensure compliance with all telecommunications regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends and suggest upgrades as necessary.
