The Fort Saskatchewan Path2Zer0 Project has been initiated to evaluate options to eliminate Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions by 2030.The Path2Zer0 Project requires a clean, reliable supply of power and steam to support the power and thermal demands of the existing onsite assets and new units in the Project. A new Cogeneration facility using Hydrogen fuel will be built to supply steam and electric power to the existing facility and new process units. The new Cogen needs to be designed for sustainable operational capabilities. With respect to the Electrical Generation Services on the Electrical side, Dow requires the ability to operate the site carbon neutral, without the grid support and with one unit ‘Out of Service’. Base Option: 3x1 new Combined Cycle with Mitsubishi H100 Gas turbines and refurbished existing TransAlta Cogen to support H2 firing Option 1: 4x1 Combined Cycle with Mitsubishi H100 Gas turbines Option 2: 6x0 Simple Cycle with Mitsubishi H100 Gas turbines 3 Options of Layout was prepared and submitted as part of feasibility study using Autocad

(Previously-Jacobs Canada Inc.), Calgary, Canada, Senior Piping Designer/Checker-Piping, 08/01/2018, 04/01/2020, North West Refiniries, Albeta : Worked as Sr. Piping Designer/Checker in this recently installed Gasifier plant that within 100 hours of its commissioning and found leakages due to Formic Acid corrosion. It happened due to the selection of inadequate material(CS) Specification by the previous engineering contractor and Worley had to replace all of the affected pipings with suitable material(SS) specification. (total 1200 isos approx.), Identified MTOs where material replacement needs to be done on PID and created MTO for the modification, Designed Tie-Ins and reviewed 3D model for the corresponding areas., Isometric Cheking and marked Demolition Isometrics, Construction Isometrics, Inter discipline coordination, KOCH Fertilizers, Brandon, Manitoba : Worked as Lead - Sr. Piping Designer/Checker in this Instrumentation driven brown field project to implement SIS to the 60 years old Nitric Acid plant where Piping had to install corresponding Instrument provisions and inline Instruments to the existing pipings using Autocad / Cadworks with manually created Isometrics for Design,Fabrication and Consrtuction., Field visit to study the existing plant and for necessary other inputs from client., Designed the necessary modifications and assisted other disciplines such as Process,Instrumentation and electrical in finalising the design., Managed the team of Designers and Drafters, Performed Change Management such as master PID markup for the changes due to layout or piping requirements, Reviewed vendor document; led bulk & specialty item’s MTO preparation for RFQ, Performed Isometric checking for all the piping modifications with demolition and construction details.(50 Isos.), Prepared Construction Work Package, Performed project close-out activities and completed., Estimated Manhours for the new proposals for the next phase of SIS implementation on other units by the client and got them approved.
