I am a multidisciplinary designer who is working towards my bachelorette in computer science and hope to blend graphic design in a computational way.
I am currently a third year graphic design student with a computation practice minor. I thoroughly enjoy all communication design from typesetting books to coding websites and visualizing data. Through the various classes available to me at California College of the Arts, I found my love for computer science. I am currently taking class in order to get my certification in CNIT and at the same time working towards my bachelorette in computer science as I hope one day to have a fruitful career in computer science bringing everything I learned from graphic design and bringing a new lens to computer science. Data is a specific field of computer science that I feel blends all my interests and my long-term career goal is to become a data scientist.
While working for IDEO I worked their website with their current logo system they had, in order to make things more concurrent.
Used my current knowledge on CSS, HTML and Javascript in order to make a much more unique website.
Create sketches of each page on the website and brought them to life.
While volunteering at NOMA, I greeted guests who entered a gallery found in the Sculpture Garden.
Engaged visitors through guided tours, enhancing their understanding of art collections.
I was given a booklet with information on the art pieces found in said gallery, it was my responsibility to memorize and learn this information, and answer the guest questions about the art pieces.
Took and followed detailed directions from others.
