Beyond the primary roles of a Pharmacy Assistant, I have sought out several secondary roles:

• Help manage over 300 patient files in our medication compliance package program. I joined this team after only three months at the pharmacy.
• Took a proactive role in inventory management, maintaining optimal stock levels, diligently auditing medication expiration dates, monitoring medications on backorder and seeking out alternative manufacturers to maintain continuity of care, and promptly processing return-to-stock items when prescriptions are not picked up. Part of this role is investigating and correcting any discrepancies.
• Receive deliveries of medication shipments, verifying contents against invoices while adhering to proper storage protocols.

As project lead on three separate investigations, my research goal was to help determine the role, if any, of chronic peripheral inflammation in perpetuating neuroinflammation.

• Conducted pilot studies as part of preliminary investigations to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed methodologies.
• Taught myself new techniques, then developed and optimized experimental procedures through rigorous testing and troubleshooting efforts.
• Participated actively in regular meetings with fellow researchers to discuss project updates, challenges faced, and lessons learned during ongoing activities.
• Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative research methodologies and strategies.

• Through excellent time management and planning, I balanced the children's schedules with my school and extracurricular activities schedule.
• Oversaw morning and after-school duties such as cooking meals, preparing them for school or sports, organizing necessary materials, and providing safe transportation.
• Built positive and nurturing environments to support child social and emotional growth.
