Following all cash handling procedures including accurately balancing the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts

Accepting and receiving deliveries of merchandise
Ensuring food safety protocols are followed by storing all frozen and refridgerated food correctly, completing accurate temperature logs, and checking expiration dates when stocking
Heavy lifting of merchandise (~30-50 lbs)
Learning roles of other departments to provide coverage and keep store operational
Training new team members in cash register operation, stock procedures and customer service
Completing markdowns, write-offs, and SKU changes when needed
Maintaining planograms, labels, tickets and signing standards
Performing cycle counts as required
