It is my responsibility as an educator to provide an inclusive learning environment within my classroom for all students. I believe all students can learn, and my responsibility is to support and plan for each of my student’s academic, social, emotional, and physical needs so that they have fulfilling lives and can contribute to a democratic society.

Currently, I teach English language arts, math, social studies, and art. I continue to coach junior high and high school volleyball, soccer, track and field, and badminton. When needed I help with Rivers Collegiate Hockey Academy.

Filling the role of a Crew Leader required me to work in high-pressure situations alongside heavy equipment and helicopters. A vital part of this job included having the ability to suddenly change plans because of emergent situations, communicate clearly to the team, and work alongside people of diverse ethnicities.
