• In my role at The Hockey News, I create digital content ranging from features on players and teams to breaking news from around the hockey world.

• Since 2008, I have hosted over 500 episodes of my own podcast known as Avry’s

Sports Show. The podcast has aired on various podcasting and internet radio

platforms, including BlogTalkRadio, Soundcloud, and Apple Podcasts.

• The show has been accredited to cover the Canadian Football League’s Grey Cup,The Pro Football Hall of Fame Inductions, The FIFA Women’s World Cup, and The Hockey Hall of Fame Inductions.

• Avry’s Sports Show guests have included such

names in the sports world as Dwayne De Rosario, Eric Wynalda, John Herdman,

Deion Sanders, Mike Modano, John Salley and Donovan Bailey.

• I provided play-by-play commentary for the men's and women's hockey and basketball programs on a casual basis.

• Co-host of an Edmonton Oilers post-game show known as Game Over: Edmonton
• Provided analysis and took viewer questions during the live broadcast.

• In my role, I wrote weekly features on the Western Canadian NHL teams and appeared on Yahoo's weekly hockey YouTube series, Zone Time.

• As the Edmonton based social correspondent my duties entailed taking pictures and videos from the sidelines of Edmonton Elks games as well as capturing footage of the fans and other elements that showed what a gameday was like at Commonwealth Stadium for the CFL's Instagram page.

• Contributed various articles on the NRL, MLB, NFL, and women's soccer to one of the largest digital sports platforms in Australia.

• Pitched and wrote articles on various topics pertaining to Edmonton, including the baseball culture of Edmonton and connections to the city the game has around the world.

• In my role for 3DownNation, I contribute special features on the Edmonton Elks.
• 3DownNation is the largest independent website covering the Canadian Football League and stories revolving around Canadians in the National Football League.

• In my role at the Imagine Monet exhibit, I helped welcome guests to the exhibit as well as informing them about the life and artwork of Claude Monet. I also helped with sales at the exhibit gift shop.

• In my role, I profiled various players on the roster in a series known as 'Two Things with Avry". I was also the host of a team branded web series known as "The Starting Rotation".

• The Co-host of a weekly sports podcast that covered various sports topics with notable guests.
• The show aired over 90 episodes with guests from the Canadian Elite Basketball League, CFL and NHL.

• In my role as a guest service ambassador, I made sure bags were scanned into our flight systems, as well as pushing guests in wheelchairs to their gates. I also helped ensure flights left on time at the one outdoor gate at Edmonton International, Gate 49.

• On Inside Super League, a weekly highlights show on Rugby League for Sky Sports, I was an on-camera correspondent of games in a two-minute segment produced by The City Talking, a production company based in Leeds, England, which sent the videos to Sky. The team I covered was the Toronto Wolfpack, the only Canadian team in the highest level of British Rugby League.

• I provided colour commentary for the University of Alberta Pandas hockey team during the 2017-18 Canada West Women's Hockey season.
• The analyst position also required me to do weekly interviews with players and coaches before and after practices and before games.

• In my role at 102.3 FM Now! Radio I responded to caller texts and song requests during various shows. My role also entailed Updating the station's Twitter profile page with local traffic updates.

• In my role at Joey Eaton Centre, I ensured plates and glasses were kept clean and in order for the usage of guests during morning and evening shifts.

• In the fall and winter of the 2016 National Lacrosse League season, I was the assigned intern for the Toronto Rock. In my role, I assisted in running the league’s social media platforms for the NLL Draft and wrote training camp and gameday/post-game Rock pieces.

• For GSUS, I worked as a member of the clothing line’s social media department at their Toronto offices. In my role I helped run the company's Canadian social media accounts and worked to improve the online presence of the brand.

• In my role for Edmonton’s only all sports station (rebranded as TSN 1260 in summer 2013), I assisted in guest booking for the morning and late night talk shows. I also assisted in editing interviews and segments as well as reporting on the Toronto Blue Jays and the National Lacrosse League.

• Contributed articles on NAIT varsity teams and various sports leagues around North America.
