Summary

I am currently in grade 9, and am looking for a part time job. I am hoping to work approximately 8-10 hours per week, possibly more in the summertime. My hours of availability vary, but are focused on evenings, and weekends. This will be my first paying job, and I look forward to building skills, and working hard to make sure that I make myself valuable to the team, and my employer. I am looking to begin saving money for post secondary school, and this job will help me do that.

Work History

Volunteer Hockey Skills Coach

KMHA/First Shift
11.2025 - Current

I volunteer as a on ice helper for the first shift program, which teaches young kids (ages 5-10) who have never played hockey before, how to play the game. I helped design practices, ran drills, and worked one on one with the participants to help them gain experience and skills.

I enjoy being a leader on the ice and helping give back to the community.

Team Leader

Kamloops Blaze U15 Female Hockey Team
09.2024 - Current

I have been a member of the U15 Kamloops Blaze female hockey team for 1.5 year. During this time I have grown to be a leader on my team. I am helpful and encouraging to the other players. I listen to my coaches and try to gain knowledge from them when the share some encouragement or criticism. During my second year on this team, I have even been asked to act as assistant captain for several games.

08.2025 - 08.2025

I volunteered for RIBFEST with the Kamloops Daybreak rotary club. My duties included working in the corn tent, handling cash, taking orders, taking payments, making change and other duties. I also assisted in cleaning up after the event ended, and also spent time working in the kids zone entertaining and supervising children.

Volunteer

Rotary Club of Kitimat
06.2021 - 09.2023

I volunteered for numerous Rotary events in Kitimat. Some of these included making gifts and delivering them to local , seniors setting up for events, cleaning up after events, community garbage clean up, and my favourite, creating a lemonade stand to raise money to send wheelchairs to amputees in Fiji. During this event, I single handedly raised over $400, and was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship, one of the most prestigious awards in rotary, and I was one of the youngest ever to receive that award.
