Threat Assessment & Management Division

• Assess and manage cases of inappropriate pursuit involving mentally ill individuals, interpersonal violence and stalkers, harassment, and workplace violence for public figures and high-profile executives
• I also assess and manage situations involving domestic violence, and disgruntled current and former employees
• Co-designed the threat management program and serve as the point of contact for an at-risk executive who receives thousands of inappropriate and threatening communications per week
• I implement systems to keep the program robust, including leading weekly Program Strategy Review meetings to ensure our management plans are up to date and to discuss ongoing cases
• Responsible for ongoing social media monitoring of several concerning individuals, specifically searching for pre-incident indicators to violence
• Conduct independent security studies of public figures and executives
• Serve as an Instructor at GDBA’s Advanced Threat Assessment Academy, leading Case Presentations, and Decision-Point format trainings

• Reporting directly to the Director of Threat Assessment and Management, and the Director of Case Management, I oversee the threat management programs for several high profile and at-risk clients, whom are located in the United States and abroad
• My responsibilities include decision making during emergencies involving inappropriate visitors and threats, helping create innovative management strategies, reviewing inappropriate and violent content, conducting extensive investigative and social media research, preparing and sending reports directly to clients, and communicating with our executive protection teams to ensure the clients’ safety
• Created and oversee a tracking system which utilizes data collection and trend analysis to aid in our case management decisions
• Created the report used to present the information collected through this system, which was shared with the president of the company

• Trained and oversaw the work of junior analysts
• Reviewed and approved threat assessment reports and frequently communicated with clients and client representatives
• Created the division’s current system for conducting case briefings in collaboration with the investigations division, conducted in-depth research on concerning cases, prepared external case briefings for law enforcement, and assisted on special projects related to complex cases

• Assessed communications including inappropriate letters, emails, and social media posts containing derogatory language and threats
• Conducted cursory investigative and internet research using open source intelligence, and prepared reports on inappropriate persons
• When promoted to Analyst II, I independently conducted threat assessments and reviewed inappropriate material
• Ongoing interactions with client representatives and began working on workplace violence and stalking cases

• Monitored and researched legal court procedures (criminal and civil), public documents, rules, statutes, laws and legislations at courts for multiple jurisdictions and federal agencies across the United States
• Identified and documented new findings, and updated records utilizing computerized legal research and telephone communication ahead of set deadlines
• Worked closely with a team of four other researchers in assisting in-house attorneys on regular assignments and confidential research projects
