I have hands-on experience in money management, cleaning, and landscaping. I worked with the City of Sacramento on landscaping and park clean-up, handling tasks like filling trash trailers and maintaining outdoor spaces. This experience taught me teamwork, time management, and how to stay focused in challenging conditions. I also gained skills in tool organization and maintenance while working outdoors in the summer heat.
In addition to my work experience, I attended Prime Time Teen on Tuesdays and Thursdays, where I completed a business/workforce readiness program with a Golden 1 Credit Union Financial Recruiter. This helped me develop job preparation, money management, and communication skills. I also participated in team activities, mock interviews, and work packets to improve my social and professional abilities.
I’m eager to continue learning new skills, explore different careers, and grow as both a worker and job seeker.

Through my work with L&L, I learned skills like lopping, hand pruning, working on tree wells, collaborating as a team, and managing tasks to become a more effective worker.
