LaTerra contracting is a landscape, deck and fence builder. I was hired as a helper on site during the spring and summer months. This is primarily a summer position while not enrolled in highschool. I was hired to move materials such as fencing and deck material, sod, soil, etc. During this time I learned to lay sod, dig fence post holes and use various tools such as nailers, saws, fence augers. Some other duties include the following...
- Loaded, Unloaded, gathered materials, prepared work sites, and performed tasks such as shoveling, lifting, planting, and laying sod
- Hang promotional material in designated areas of the city.
- Expanded skill set through continuous learning of new techniques, tools, and equipment related to laborer tasks.
- Improved worksite efficiency by maintaining clean and organized work areas.
