My last year of school was a used to mimic work experience that would be encountered in an architectural firm. In a group of four, we were given an existing building to create demolition & renovation plans to accommodate for new occupants.

These are the skills I learnt & utilized;

• Used critical thinking to break down problems, evaluate solutions and make decisions.
• Developed and maintained courteous and effective working relationships.
• Used coordination and planning skills to achieve results according to schedule.
• Utilized architectural and technical knowledge to develop creative solutions to design problems.
• Used computer-aided design software to prepare blueprints and schematics.
• Evaluated information provided by client and professors and created accurate drawings according to measurements and specifications.

• Gathered AutoCAD references to use as guidelines and textures for models.
• Communicated with supervisor to brainstorm ideas and discuss upcoming project, successfully completing the project over the course of a week.
• Interpreted drawing markups and implemented drawing revisions provided by supervisor.
