- Assist Patients of Daily living. This includes feeding, lifts and transfers, skin care , oral hygiene, and toileting.
- Performs tasks delegated by RN or RPN, this include vitals signs and medication administration.
- Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff by reporting and documenting unsafe conditions such as broken equipment as well as any patient behavior, physical, or cognitive changes.
- Made beds, swept floors and sanitized surfaces to support activities of daily living.
- Complete and maintain related patient records and progress notes, as per hospital policy.
- Turned and positioned bedbound patients to prevent bedsores and maintain comfort levels.
- Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring and adaptive aids.
