- I was very fortunate enough to have a lab experience in this past summer. I got the opportunity to work in the the advanced molecular diagnostics laboratory where I got the chance to be a part of many different things such as nucleic acid extraction and banking, next-generation sequencing (Illumina and Ion Torrent platforms), NanoString, ddPCR, MLPA, and Sanger sequencing under supervision.

- Every day, I assisted individuals with their prescriptions while working with them. I responded to their inquiries over the phone or in person. I was given the duty of dropping off the patient's prescription, filling out the prescriptions, filling our covid vaccination forms and replenishing the inventory. While working at the drugstore, I developed a number of abilities like working under pressure, problem solving and communication.
