Sound knowledge of design standards, specifications and materials associated with construction, laws and regulations including environmental, occupational health and safety requirements and their application in construction contracts Hands on construction experience of with detailed design of civil works for water supply systems, sanitary sewers, and stormwater systems including linear works, valves chambers, and pump stations, Construction services including site field reviews/reporting and MMCD contract administration Demonstrated experience in highway, Municipal construction projects particularly with respect to asphalt, grading and structural inspections and Project Management with strong knowledge and background of pumping systems and underground utilities Direct experience of work with construction supervisors, schedulers, planners regarding development and implementation of the project quality system with effective oral and written communication skills and ability to represent the company and project team in a professional manner Thorough knowledge of the preparation of tender bid documents, bid estimating, and contract administration (on behalf of the Owner) throughout the duration of the construction period Sound knowledge of design standards, specifications and materials associated with construction, laws and regulations including environmental, occupational health and safety requirements and their application in construction contracts Effective organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of construction site related issues Hands on experience as a design Field Engineer/Technologist or as the clients’ field engineer /technologist representative and be responsible for Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) supervision on Civil projects Demonstrate knowledge of the municipal engineering environment including associated risk management and liability concerns Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications, proven experience with AutoCAD & Civil-3D, familiar with GIS

Proficient Building Inspector bringing [Number] years' experience evaluating construction sites. Knowledgeable about ordinance requirements, erosion control and HVAC, electrical and plumbing codes.

• TDG, CSTS, WHMIS, Working at Height, Erosion and Sediment Control, Confined Space Entry Training certified.
• Health and Safety Program Development, Certified by Alberta Association for Safety Partnerships.
