As the General Manager I currently oversee a staff of four employees.
Some of my duties over the past year include:
*Greeting customers and ensuring they find what they are looking for and leave happy.
*Making and taking phone calls from customers, suppliers, technical providers etc.
*Ordering stock and supplies in small and large quantities. Also going out and personally shopping for the store.
*Receiving merchandise and displaying in a way to appeal to the customer.
*Creating and maintaining a schedule for employees.
*Receiving and sending/creating invoices.
*Office duties such as tax paperwork, accounting and bookkeeping. Using Quickbooks, Wagepoint for Payroll, & Microsoft Office Suite. Along with bank deposits daily.
*Entering all invoice data in POS system to keep inventory up to date and ensure margins are met.
*Creating unique and catchy Social Media posts to help drive customers into store, and give information needed via Messenger for Customer inquiries and requests,
