I am an eager and compassionate Student Nurse at Fresno State University, trying my best to remain well-versed in anatomy and physiology, nursing fundamentals, pharmacology, medical terminology, etc. I have been participating in clinicals at Saint Agnes Medical Center for a year now, and will be at both Clovis Community Hospital and Valley Children's during my upcoming semester. I respond to patients' needs with a calm, caring, and professional mentality. I have demonstrated success in delivering quality care to multiple patients and their families. One thing about me is I will work hard and love to learn all that I can. I thoroughly enjoy working with people, whether they be other students, nurses, or patients; and hopefully can help make their day just a little bit brighter.

To Whom it May Concern,
My name is Christa Medeiros, and I am a second semester clinical instructor for Fresno State University. It is my pleasure to recommend Ashley Ledbetter for employment. Ashley was in my second semester med-surg clinical rotation, and I thoroughly enjoyed having her as a student. This rotation is quite challenging, as students are interacting with high acuity medical and oncology patients on the particular unit we are assigned to. For most, it feels like a big step up from the first semester. I hold my students to high standards and feel that the skills learned during the second semester are foundational for all types of nursing. Most would agree this is not an easy clinical course. In spite of the heavy workload, it was evident that Ashley put time, effort and care into each of her assignments, earning her consistently high scores. She came to clinical with a positive attitude and was ready to work hands on with her RN and their patients. Ashley is a compassionate young woman, who always has a sincerely kind word for everyone. She is a nurturer and encourager, and will be a blessing to her patients, and surely to other new RNs one day. Ashley seeks to learn and understand her practice, and asks questions, and seeks clarification when needed. She is an excellent team worker, working closely with her assigned RN, as well as helping outside of her assigned group. I believe she will make a wonderful nurse in whichever area of our field she decides to pursue. I thank you for considering Ashley Ledbetter as a new member of your team.
Sincerely,
Christa Medeiros, BSN, RN
