Volunteer Work
I am passionate about volunteering! Working with Golden Rescue, being on the Intakes Team and the Education and Advocacy Team has been wonderful. The intakes team involves a lengthy process of intaking possible dogs that are being surrendered. One needs to posses great phone etiquette, problem solving skills and dealing with very difficult scenarios/people. On the Education and Advocacy team we perform presentations to schools, and youth/adult groups and educate on what we do as a rescue and the importance of rescue.
