At Joey’s, I volunteered my free time to support individuals and families in need within the community. My primary responsibility involved packing food items and assembling care packages to be distributed to those experiencing food insecurity. I played an active role during distribution events, helping to load supplies into cars during drive-through pickups and personally handing out food to walk-up recipients.

This experience I took in allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of compassion, service, and teamwork. It also taught me the importance of organization and efficiency, especially during high-demand periods when many families were depending on us for support. Volunteering at Joey’s gave me the opportunity to make a positive impact and strengthened my ability to work in fast-paced, people-focused environments.
