• Provide primary point of contact for producer and public inquiries over the phone, in person, and through the general email account
• Direct inquiries to appropriate staff and follow-up to ensure a response is given
• Oversee mail services, including distribution of incoming mail, recording cheques, and coordination of mail and courier pick-up
• Coordinate large mailings to producers
• Provide administrative and business support activities for the office
• Assist in the preparation for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) including planning and coordination of the annual banquet (500 people)
• Assist in the planning of producer and stakeholder meetings held in the office and in Manitoba’s communities
• Send notices to producers/stakeholders and confirm registrations for producer and stakeholder meetings
• Provide assistance in liaising with vendors and contractors
• Support data-entry and maintenance of a confidential producer database
• Assist in updating the website (e.g., upload job postings, events)
• Assist in the delivery of the Pig TRACE program (e.g., coordinating delivery of ear tags to producers)
• Coordinate United Way of Winnipeg (and other fundraisers)
• Coordinate social functions for staff and Board as directed
