I am a curious life-learner and a detail-oriented GIS professional with a Master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems with a strong scientific academic background with dual Bachelor's degrees in Geology and Biology. I am adept at utilizing GIS tools and technologies to analyze spatial data, model the natural and social world, and support decision-making across various industries and arenas. With a solid foundation in earth sciences and a love for teaching and sharing knowledge with students and the general public of all ages, I am passionate about science literacy and I am equipped to apply interdisciplinary knowledge to solve complex spatial problems. As a candidate eager to contribute to a dynamic team, I will use technical skills and academic expertise to deliver high-quality results in GIS applications and communicate those results with the team and stakeholders.
Conduct guided tours of Dinosaur Ridge, educating guests of all ages and backgrounds on the natural resources (paleontological and geological) of Dinosaur Ridge, a National Natural Landmark in Morrison, Colorado. Promoting scientific literacy in the general population and to early education students.
Promoted to Supervisor within first year of employment, which includes overseeing other staff, hiring and training new staff, and managing day-to-day organizational operations. Aided restructuring of organziation post-pandemic to optimize revenue while adhering to public health guidelines.
