Asa Hood

Over the past two summers at Pepsico, I have worked in a fast paced food processing and manufacturing environment performing a variety of tasks. Working in such an environment as a general labourer has allowed me to develop the ability to perform repetitive movements and lift heavy objects for long periods of time while still meeting high packaging quality standards. In addition, my work as a quality assurance technician has allowed me to develop a keen eye for details and taught me the importance of meeting deadlines in a fast paced production environment.

Through my work I have been able to develop essential skills such as working independently, multi-tasking effectively, and completing tasks efficiently to ensure that I am doing my part in the production process and contributing to a work team in whatever capacity that may be.

First Aid Certification

March 2022 to March 2025

• Emergency first aid with CPR C and AED in accordance with the standards of workplace health and safety, Health Canada and ESDC.

WHMIS Certification

September 2023 to September 2026

Occupational Health and Safety Certification
