• Assisted with daily living activities, promoting patient independence and overall wellbeing.
• Assisted patients with dressing, grooming and feeding needs, helping to overcome, and adapt to mobility restrictions.

• Aid in activities of daily living such as medication assistance, personal care, transfer in/out of bed, to/from wheelchair.

• Provide assistance in activities of daily living such as medication assistance, personal care, transfer in/out of bed, to/from wheelchair.
• Use of mechanical lifts as per resident care plan.
• Roles and responsibilities come under HCA license.

• Provides holistic personal care to residents, ensuring that the residents’ activities of daily living needs are met as per policy and procedures. e.g. personal hygiene, oral care, skin care, toileting, bathing, nail care, dressing, grooming and activation.
• Provides residents with nutritional assistance. e.g. meals
• Report any appetite/fluid intake changes or concerns immediately to the Team leader or LPN’s.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Have experience as a nursing student in the following areas-

• Medicine unit
• Surgery unit
• Psychiatric unit
• Pediatric unit
• OB and Gynecology unit
• Community health nursing- Urban and Rural health centre
• One month experience in IHBAS, Psychiatric Hospital, Delhi
• Oral polio vaccine campaign by World Health Organization (WHO)
