  • Perform physical Assessment of patients and document findings.
  • Assess patient risk for fall and pain level and manage pain as per our policy.
  • Receive & stabilize patient with cardiac emergencies like Myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, unstable angina, Heart Block and pulmonary edema.
  • Perform procedures like providing sponge bath and basic hygiene, insertion of nasogastric tube, urinary catheterization, hemodynamic monitoring, oxygen administration, ET tube suctioning, Ostomy care, IV cannulation, Steam inhalation, Collection of blood samples for various investigations etc.
  • Assists procedures like Intubation & Extubating, Tracheostomy, Insertion of central line and arterial line, Bronchoscopy, Lumbar puncture, Paracentesis and Thoracocentesis etc.
  • Prepare patients for surgery, ensure pre op site marking is done and transfer patients to Operating Room.
  • Implemented the nursing care plan for patients and recorded the progress of the plan in their medical records.
  • Assisted patients with meals, dressing and bathing, ambulatory needs and other daily activities in the hours or days following surgery.
