  • Implement 8-week summer program with the Sacramento League Commissioner
  • The program is completely free for the community, involving co-ed baseball & softball
  • Assist with pre-season meetings, Recruit, train and onboarding volunteers
  • Including distribution incentives, equipment, uniforms, and program materials
  • Maintain online registration platform organization, including assisting with registration and monitoring background checks on volunteers; using League Apps
  • Conduct community assessment reports during pre-season
  • Throughout the season, I participate in various virtual and in-person events, training and meetings: weekly check in calls, diversity, equity & inclusion training, & AmeriCorps National Service Day.

Working alongside women Afghan refugees with their journey in Education to become literate in the English language & adapting to American culture

  • Respond to any technology issues that conflict with them being able to access their virtual weekly classes, report to any house calls if need be, connect with the women over the phone to discuss any issues: work towards solutions
  • Assist with any wifi troubles, as well as assisting households in the process to install wifi
  • Work on programming the software to be easily accessible to women new to technology.

Adult Literacy Services @ Sacramento Public Library - Leader

Present

A program where we host different meetings to help adults practice English literacy & language. The meetings allow us to begin & have conversations about different topics in order to introduce the groups to different common topics in the English language/become more comfortable speaking & writing in English. Allows us to cover topics that they may not be able to in their daily lives which allows them to become comfortable speaking with others they may not be familiar with, or asking for clarification on topics in their personal life, jobs, & tasks.


ENGin - Volunteer

ENGin is a non-profit organization that allows fluent English speaking students to provide virtual lessons with English learning Ukrainian students for practice/expanding their knowledge with the English language.


MedTech - Founder

Founded a community of prospective Engineering students who come together & study BioMedical Engineering case studies together. These case studies are provided by a local medical equipment firm @Hand Biomechanics Lab. The group shares their thoughts and analyzes the case studies, which provide images, details about patients, and why they underwent certain solutions.
