Provide strategic and operational oversight for county-wide EMS deployment and field operations.

• Direct daily EMS operations across multiple deployment zones to ensure system readiness and response compliance.
• Lead and develop Field Training Officers, EMTs, and supervisory staff to uphold performance, accountability, and service excellence.
• Implement operational improvements to optimize fleet flow, base logistics, and infrastructure utilization.
• Manage staffing strategy, shift coverage, and workforce allocation to maintain uninterrupted service delivery.
• Conduct incident reviews and root cause analyses to strengthen safety standards and reduce preventable risk.
• Drive attendance accountability and professional standards initiatives to improve workforce reliability.
• Partner with executive leadership to align field operations with organizational goals and growth strategy.
• Ensure compliance with county EMS regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Oversee communication campaigns to improve transparency, engagement, and operational clarity across teams.
• Serve as liaison between field personnel and executive leadership to ensure bidirectional communication and continuous improvement.

• Maintenance and preparation of station, ambulance, and equipment to ensure a safe and reliable transport for patients
• Accurately and factually document Patient Care Reports
• Provide exceptional patient care and support through extensive healthcare knowledge and experience
• Provide emergency and non-emergency care and transport to sick and/or injured members of the community in synergy with a partner
• Instruct and oversee newly hired EMTs to facilitate their transition from student to professional
• Through extensive field training, isolate and eliminate unsuitable recruits for hire as well as approve qualified applicants

• Command and manage valet team while tactfully managing difficult or emotional situations and overseeing maintenance of station operations

• Obtaining property history reports and building blueprints and floor plans for events or construction
• Reviewing and submitting building permit applications while acting as liaison between city inspectors and permit applicants in scheduling appointments with the City of Chicago Department of Buildings for project reviews and field inspections
• Attending and acting as representative for clients in building violation court hearings
• Reviewing architectural drawings with Zoning Department officials to ensure compliance with City of Chicago Building Code
