Associate, RBC Career Launch Program
The RBC Career Launch Program is a year-long paid internship that provides work experience, professional development, networking with seasoned professionals and enables Associates to gain diverse skills and capabilities for their career.
Rotation 1: Documentation and Advance of Funds, Operations Specialist:
• Responsible for vetting incoming documents, reviewing advance of funds requirements, reporting out of orders and submitting advance instructions to liability promptly and accurately.
• Compiled and processed data, verifying correctness, accuracy and consistency of information following established procedures and within timelines for over 30+ clients a day.
• Cross-referenced data to ensure all internal systems were up-to-date and accurate.
• Liaised cross-functionally and spoke candidly with all levels of the organization.
• Worked closely with other operations specialists to be aware of any changes to processes to minimize the impact on the delivery of services to clients.

• Composed routine and non-routine correspondences on behalf of the event coordinator daily.

• Produced and maintained Excel spreadsheets to track flight, hotel, car service bookings, dietary restrictions and their related expenses totaling over 500k for both events.
