Fulfilled the role as the lead guitarist and singer in the band Poster Child since October 2023. The Band has played concerts across Montréal. This role has taught me the crucial importance of collaborative skills when it comes to preparing for and putting on live performances and communication skills when it comes to liaising with venues to arrange concerts.
Served as a senior student mentor from September 2021 to June 2023. Coached students in grade 7 and 8, offering advice and support regarding social life at school and academic challenges. This taught me the importance of setting a positive example for those around me.
Served as columnist for my school newspaper, The Crestword, between September 2021 and June 2023. Wrote columns regarding personal advice and social justice. Learned that it is vital to use my voice to champion worthwhile causes.
Served as a senior school prefect between Sep 2021 and June 2023, Planned schoolwide events such as food drives, raised awareness about issues like bullying, and arranged school functions. Learned the significance role teamwork plays in achieving positive outcomes in the community.
Participated as a student delegate in four annual conferences between 2020 and 2023 at the University of Toronto featuring simulations teaching students from across North America about International Relations and Diplomacy.
