Future goals

Academically, I want to focus on something that will help me find a future career that will support my interests. I want to pursue a career in dentistry, which has been a long standing goal of mine. I plan to attend post-secondary school to study science and health related courses, eventually applies to a dental program. Becoming a dentist appeals to me because it combines my interests in healthcare with the opportunity to help people improve their oral care. I am committed to working hard to achieve these goals and make a positive impact in this field.

leadership style

  • My leadership style is democratic, which means I value collaboration and encourage input from others before I make decisions. For example, when I was a part of a group project for school, I ensured everyone's ideas were heard and considered before we finished our plan. This approach helped build trust and create a sense of teamwork, and it resulted in better outcomes for everyone.
  • As a democratic leader one of my strengths is my ability to listen and make others feel heard. I am good at creating a positive environment where everyone feels involved. However, sometimes I take longer to make decisions because I want to make sure everyone has had their chance to contribute.
  • To develop my leadership skills, I plan to continue practicing open communication and collaboration in school and at home. For example, I aim to take on more leadership roles in group projects or volunteer activities. By doing this, I can become an even stronger and more efficient leader.
