- Lead a team to investigate microbes in a harsh environment. Studied how to use color charts to determine minerals in water. Using S16. sRNA sequence to identify microbial species present in the environmental sample. Developed my interest in outdoor adventure
Container-Based waster water treatment design, UBC
- Design a container-Based waster water treatment for takla first nation,to solve septic problem and reduce the transportation fee and greenhouse gas emissions. This project leads me to get a deeper understanding on primary, secondary and tertiary treatment and helps me develop more on the team spirit.
Sustainable energy system design, UBC (Capstone)
- The primary objective of this project is to establish a sustainable district energy system in Burnaby that leverages organic waste, primarily food waste, to produce biogas and high-quality soil amendments efficiently. This biogas will serve as a green energy source to supply heat to the district energy system, contributing to the City of Burnaby's climate action and resilience goals.
