  • Collaborated with physical therapists (PT), occupational therapists (OT), Early interventions (Child stem) and speech-language pathologists (SLP). Assisted during therapies (child willing to work better alongside lvn) and therapists recommended exercises or routines to implement throughout 40 hour work week to improve patients health and development. Watched child reach milestones thanks to these therapies including learning to keep his head up, working on core strength with sit ups, crawling, standing on his own, walking steadily without assistance, be able to throw a ball and communicate his needs through signs and some verbal communication.
  • 2x a day worked on feeding therapy per OT recommendations. 30 minutes dedicated to eating orally while feeding ran through g tube. Prior to feeding used oral stimulation to wake up muscles and stimulate saliva.
