Abstract: The present study involves the synthesis of novel
paracetamol-embedded 1,2,3-triazole derivatives using a
click chemistry and molecular hybridization approach. The
primary objective was to enhance the pharmacological
potential of paracetamol by integrating the bioactive 1,2,3-
triazole moiety, known for its broad therapeutic significance.
The synthesized compounds were structurally characterized
using IR, ¹H NMR, ¹³C NMR, and mass spectrometry. In vitro
screening was conducted to evaluate the anti-tubercular
activity of these derivatives using Enoyl-ACP reductase (InhA,
PDB ID: 4TZK) as the molecular target in docking studies.
Several synthesized compounds demonstrated favorable
binding affinities and promising activity profiles, suggesting
their potential as lead candidates for further development in
anti-tuberculosis therapy
