Be available by cell phone 24 hours per day, seven days per week, including holidays and weekends
Review and sign social workers reports
Perform monthly review of the social workers' case notes
Assist with difficult situations with social workers, resource parents and children
Complete Performance Appraisals on employees at the appropriate times
Assist in the hiring, discipline, performance issues, and termination of social workers as needed
Ensure social workers notify all necessary parties of incidents withing appropriate time frames and ensure incident reports are submit to Community Care Licensing within the required time frames
Ensure social workers handle all crises promptly, in accordance with state and agency policies, and utilizing trauma-focused interventions
Help evaluate necessary actions when informed of allegations against resource parents
