Capstone Personal Project – Urban Gardens: Cooling Benefits

• Reviewed literature and case studies on the role of urban gardens in mitigating urban heat.
• Designed and presented a research poster to professionals at the BUF networking event.

Capstone Group Project – Thermal Comfort in UBC Courtyards

• Collected field data using Kestrel sensors and conducted environmental assessments.
• Developed a thermal comfort evaluation framework and presented to campus stakeholders.

UES Lab Research Assistant – Urban Heat Studies (Aubrey Benson’s Lab)

• Assisted with micrometeorological fieldwork and maintained accurate Kestrel data records.
