Working as a journeyman ironworker on a crew or being the foreman, whether it be on capital projects, shutdowns, turnarounds, or in maintenance (RTD), I've helped mobilize and set up cranes for the support needed. With the use of hand signals or verbal communication through 2way radio I helped reduce the risk in coordinating the cranes movement. Increase workplace safety by conducting regular rigging inspections and equipment maintenance. Pulling pumps, removing valves, or setting vessels always using the proper rigging in accordance with the specific task.
