  • Successfully developed a real-time monitoring System for digital therapy treatment of Amblyopia. using spatial image processing techniques and machine learning especially deep learning for feature extraction and classification.
  • Different features from face and head pose are extracted by deep learning as well as spatial image processing techniques for adherence monitoring.
  • Red/green glass detection is performed in real-time for the adherence monitoring system using multi-class VGG 16 CNN and MTCNN.
  • Detected which eye is watching through red and green glass. Also detected eyeglasses from the face using deep learning
  • Strabismus detection and digital therapy systems for ADHD are under development.
  • Object detection and Instance segmentation properties of MASKRCNN are used in pupil segmentation for strabismus detection.
  • The optimization of the real-time adherence monitoring algorithm for pilot fatigue monitoring is under development.
  • Collaborated with researchers in optometry and engineering teams to develop the algorithms.
  • Documentation of these research findings is underway to publish in top-tier conferences and journals to contribute to the scientific community.
  • Provisional patent for real time adherence monitoring system is filed.

  • A method is developed for matching of obliteration type of altered FP in two stages
  • Collaborated with the research on medical image processing. Cancer detection from mammogram images by contourlet transform, processing of SPECT images, and compression of medical images with the wavelet transform.
