I’m a people person to the core! I have an innate curiosity about other people’s stories and experiences, and for this reason, I love to hear the perspectives of people from diverse backgrounds. Variety is the spice of life, which is why I believe inclusion is so important to any workspace or community. Bringing others together was a common goal in my roles as a small group leader at Solano Church and a teacher at Children’s Healing Art Project. In addition to the community aspect of these positions, I held myself accountable for being reliable to my supervisors. This meant showing up, being on time, and seeing what needed to be done without having to be told. I strive for excellence beyond the workplace as well, shown by achieving straight A’s all four years of high school. This is a reflection of my commitment to constantly improving my skills, something I would bring to the job, if given the opportunity.
