• 1. Ensure that engineering functions of manufacturing plant are managed properly for daily/ weekly / monthly basis as per planning and executed in compliance with cGMP / regulatory/ productivity norms, so that the agreed production targets are achieved with highest standard of quality of services and products.
• 2. Installation and commissioning of new equipment’s (DQ, IQ, OQ & PQ) of production and Water system.
• 3. Training and development of engineering team members.
• 4. Handling of all engineering change controls, deviations & CAPA through QAMS.
• 5. Ensure uninterrupted availability of Water system and Process Equipment’s to User as per cGMP Norms
• 6. Representing the Water system during various audits.
• 7. Review and submission of monthly utility and repair maintenance costing report.
• 8. Ensuring compliance to Preventive & breakdown Maintenance (Through SAP) of Water system (2Pass RO +EDI system, Ultra-Filtration system, Distribution system & Pre-treatment system) as per master schedule.
• 9. Preventive maintenance of equipment and management of data in SAP PM Module.
• 10. Ensuring safety of manpower while carrying out maintenance activities in co-ordination with safety department so that work shall be carried out as per Safety GMP guidelines that includes raising safety work permits (Hot work/Height work/Confined space etc.), PSSR (Pre-Start up safety review) of machines.
• 11. Planning and execution of civil maintenance work in co-ordination with vendor i.e. Epoxy work, Transferring/relocating machines.
• 12. Planning and scheduling of preventive maintenance of equipments i.e. Granulation, Compression, Blister/Strip packing machines, Capsule filling machine etc.
• 13. Management of critical spares and consumables for all the equipments and machines of manufacturing facility.
• 14. Conceptualization and implementation of cost reduction programmed by developing competitive alternate vendors for critical spares, machining / fabrication of critical spares in-house on workshop machines.
• 15. Management of relevant documentation related to engineering functions, qualifications of equipments, building and premises so as to offer documents for audit purpose to regulatory / statutory authorities.
• 16. Breakdown maintenance followed by the root cause analysis for repetitive problems & action plans for their correction and prevention.
• 17. Revision of SOPs as per system upgradation to align with cGMP.
• 18. Certified trainer and ensuring training on regular basis to the Operators and colleagues.
