Anjola Q. Babalola

As a motivated Finance & International Business student with a passion for education & knowledge, I have spent much of my time in university improving & exhibiting my skills in leadership, critical thinking & interpersonal relations through a myriad of opportunities on and off-campus. I am set to graduate in April 2025 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and three certificates in innovation and intercultural relations. I am also preparing to take the CFA Level 1 examination in May.

Teamwork & Creative Problem-solving – Led a team of 20+ students to facilitate a Career Panel with over 100 student and professional attendees, anticipating risks and creating contingency plans to resolve issues.

Innovation & Relationship Building – Self-started the Academic portfolio within the UABSA, where I was dedicated to building relationships with external partners to conceptualize meaningful solutions for students' academic issues in an inclusive environment, which increased student engagement by over 150%.

Adaptability & Time Management – Effectively managing my workload as a student while volunteering with four organizations and being a Teaching Assistant for two courses at the Alberta School of Business.

Received a University of Alberta International Student Scholarship, an Augustana Faculty Honors Entrance Scholarship, and a University of Alberta International Country Scholarship.
