More than 10 years of experience in emergency nursing care. Proficient ability to plan and organize the emergency department. Initiating and providing high quality nursing care to a range of patients presenting with variety of undifferentiated, undiagnosed problem. Ability to create a positive work environment and management of the emergency department. Effective communicator with both the patients and the multi professional team.
-Attends emergency medical requests as they arise and renders advanced paramedical assistance to seriously ill or injured patients as required.
-Attends Medical Emergency drill monthly basis.
-Performs initial assessment and management of illness or injury to emergency patients in accordance with specified protocol and procedure.
-Prepares or assists in the preparation of patients for transport, ensuring compliance with emergency medical transport regulations, protocol, and procedure.
-Provides direct paramedical and comprehensive patient care as allowed with KNPC regulations, protocol, and procedure.
-Follows established policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
-Ensures the patient confidentiality at all times.
-Inspects emergency medical equipment to ensure serviceability and compliance with safety and infection control regulations and standards.
-Completes and transfers patient care information and records as per established procedures
