Message

I am writing in response to the enge to provide service delivery to a large population of people from diverse backgrounds, by applying for the Supervisor of Social Services position. I look forward to the opportunity to work for the progressive Halton Region, with which I share the mutual goal of providing excellence in service delivery and quality customer care, while upholding the legislative standards. As a multi-faceted program manager I provide leadership to self-managing work team in their delivery of developmental services for adults with mental and developmental disabilities. I oversee the operation of 2 residential programs and 1 day program in the Oakville area and assist the District Executive Director with district strategic plan goals, in compliance with Quality Assurance Measures, set out by the Ministry of Community and Social Services. In my participation as a member of the Accreditation Leadership Team, I worked with an integrated team of professionals to identify and respond to gaps between Christian Horizons current practices and policies and the FOCUS standards. The knowledge that I have personally acquired of the Regions Housing Service delivery model and the New Housing Service Act, will support the quick acquisition of my new role as the Supervisor of Housing Programs.
