Proficiently use a variety of hand tools and specialized equipment such as voltmeters, pressure testers, starting and charging system testers. Use proper technical manuals, diagrams, schematics and similar guides to make repairs and modifications. Comfortably work well independently and also work well with coworkers. Created training opportunities for my myself and coworkers, also lead several team training classes. Maintain my buildings HAZMAT area. Research and order parts and tools, including ordering parts and tools for others and help the parts department complete the parts and tools ordering process. Created a new PM database spreadsheet to be utilized by the parts department to build maintenance kits for all base maintained equipment. Maintained a variety of heavy equipment operating on gasoline, diesel and electric power systems, including fluid and filter changes on engine, transmission, and hydraulic systems, lubricating chassis, and inspecting equipment for other faults to provide to repairing mechanic. Test and maintain batteries.

Preventative Maintenance on passenger vehicles and some commercial vehicles which includes oil and filter changes, fuel filter and air filter replacement. Removed and Re-installed batteries. Performed various flush services such as Differential and Transmission Flushes, including filter replacement. Assisted in A/C recharging, replaced headlights, and tail lights, and with the use of a OBDII Code reader helped diagnose customer complaints. Service writer, answered phones, checked customers in and out, helped customers with any questions or concerns. Scheduled flushes based on availability in the shop. Placed orders and took inventory of all tools and parts. Warrantied out batteries.
